Another busy week, packed full of unexpected PlayStation drama, has come to a conclusion. Let's play some games, shall we?
Aaron Bayne
Finally getting to a long overdue backlog game: Resident Evil 4. No idea why it's taken me this long to pick it back up but five chapters in and I am loving it!
Sammy Barker
I'm working through a backlog of reviews, so I'll probably be attempting to tick off as many of those as possible this weekend.
Scott McCrae
I've finally started playing through Shadow of the Erdtree so probably some mixture of that and Marvel vs Capcom Fighting Collection.
That's what we're playing this week, but what about you? As always, feel free to get involved in the comments section below.
Comments 101
Stellar Blade: The combat has impressed me with its depth and variety of different moves, combos, and upgrades, with the different exospines providing customization that actually feels applied in-game.
EVE is very endearing and you want her to avenge her comrades, but it's the side quests (particularly Enya's) where the story really shines. It's also nice to have a huge variety of outfits, earrings, and glasses to customize your look.
In other words, it's a really fun ride.
I’ve got too many games on the go at the minute so I’m going to concentrate on finishing at least one, which this weekend will be Vacation Simulator I think.
On PS5 i WAS playing the Plucky Squire but I've encountered a major bug, last night I finished on chapter 8 and turned off my game, went back to it this morning and my save says chapter 5 which was 3 days ago, so yeah it quickly got deleted.
Instead il be focussing on the Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream Beta and Visions of Mana
On Switch I will be playing Tokyo Mirage Sessions and some Splatoon 3.
Playing plucky squire right now. Great game not without some faults
Returned to finish of Rage on ps3 after about a year off. I’d kinda been putting it off as I remember not thinking that much of it but it’s better than recall. Should have my 100% run finished up today and then I’ll take a stab at the Nightmare run on Wednesday for the plat.
Im still playing the incredible 2014 game of the year winner dragon age inquisition game of the year edition.and im still playing the amazing tales of arise.i will be watching my Pittsburgh Steelers💛🖤 play.and i will be watching legendary sitcoms comedy tv 📺 shows in family matters.good times.the Jeffersons.and saved by the bell.word up son
I'm still on AstroBot.
I got stuck on the Cross Challenge missions last weekend and stepped away from it for a bit to play Sky Gunners. I went back to it on Thursday though and beat three of the four cross missions in about 45 minutes.
I love when that happens with a good game.
Also, my friends and I are getting back into Helldivers 2 in a big way. I've been playing once or twice a month for the last while, but I'm all in on it again this weekend.
Gonna crack on with Visions of Mana. I like it, but it's not hooked me as much as the Trials of Mana remake did.
@playstation1995 I'm feeling the need to play Dragon Age again too. The hype for Veilguard is building nicely.
Astro Bot continues to be my go to, as I’ve not had much game time, so I just “help my son” when he wants to watch me play… and we’re using my save data, which is nearly complete now, rather than his, so who is helping who now? Anyway, I’m really close to having all bots and puzzle pieces, so that may happen this weekend.
Elsewhere, I’d like to play more Mr Mosquito and Skygunner. Talk about the best month of PS+ ever to have those two launch at once. I’ve yet to start Plucky Squire too, and I want to. Maybe this weekend?
I’m in no rush with games, as I had to buy a new car as an emergency (as a trade in) and my wife needed a new one too, so we collaboratively did the responsible thing. Now, I will have to rely on my preorders for the rest of the year, which means goodbye future Switch games as Zelda still isn’t even on Amazon to preorder. The insanity, am I right? So it’s looking like I’ve got four or five PS games for the rest of the year, which is plenty, but… man… maybe I can make an exception for Zelda, right? What’s money anyway? Who needs it? Maybe I can figure out a side hustle?
Got the platinum on Astro Bot on Thursday. Such a great game.
On Plucky which is great but after Astro nothing is as fun lol
Will be playing Condemned: Criminal Origins on Series X, Sackboy: A Big Adventure on PS5 and Persona 5 Strikers on Switch. Pretty good mix of games this weekend!
Astrobot, playing the last challenge before getting the platinum trophy. After that I think I will start up my Switch. Never finished Mario oddysey and bowsers fury but I’m now fully into platforming.
Also still have persona 5 Royal that is still to be opened
Balatro on the switch ( great game just can’t get past round 15) and as many horror games as I can squeeze in whilst drinking beer and listening/watching football .
Have a great gaming weekend everyone 👌
@UltimateOtaku91 I'm having an issue in The Plucky Squire at the start of chapter 7 beat 2 enemies near a couple of starfish and Jot just stands there. All I can do is throw my sword. It's crashed 3 times as well.
Black Myth Wukong Chapter 5 finally after being stuck on Chapter 4 bosses for hours. Also picked up Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster for a bit of silly fun
Gonna sink my teeth into Hades after I finish work. Heard a lot of good things about this one!
Gotham Knights and Paper Mario (N64) this weekend
On the 5 I’ll be playing a few levels at a time in astrobot to maximize joy and a few levels at time in tomb raider 1 remastered to maximize frustration. On my IBM compatible computer I’ll be playing dead space 2 and half life alyx.
Astro bot for me this weekend
Waiting patiently for PS5 Pro day
And Switch 2 reveal.
Completed Nier Replicant ending A yesterday. I was going to launch into ending B but then the game was expecting me to spend 30 mins reading a novella and I quickly decided I needed a break playing something else for a bit.
So I have forsaken PlayStation for a while in favour of playing Metroid Prime; undoubtedly one of the greatest sci-fi games ever. For some reason I've only ever played the first one, so probably time I fixed that and played the rest of the trilogy. Working my way through the magical original first though.
After finishing Astro Bot last weekend, it made me feel very nostalgic. After having a blast as a bot Aloy (and also due to the amazing music) I’ve decided to go back to Horizon Forbidden West and restart as it’s been a while since I’ve played, and I can’t remember anything.
The Plucky Squire, I'm on chapter 9 and hope to finish it over the weekend. I had high hopes but it's kinda of meh, it's nowhere near as inventive or fun as the trailers made out. Its incredibly linear and every puzzle solution well signposted. The only times I've been stuck is when stuff fails to load into the level.
SCORN (VR)
Played it with the UEVR mod and damn... those are just about the most impressive visuals I've seen in VR so far. Like walking around a Giger painting.
Wildermyth
I've quickly become addicted to this roguelike RPG where your team ages, fall in love, get maimed in battle etc. Could see myself playing this for a long time!
American Truck Simulator (VR)
This is just a totally chill experience playing in VR with wheel/pedals and some music playlist on in the background. Honestly I think I will just quit my graphic design career and go be a truck driver from now on.
@Decoy_Snake Have you tried going back to the main menu to the continue with save page and clicking square, you can reload an earlier save point. But for me my latest save point is chapter 5 although I got to chapter 8, 4 hours of progress just gone.
Antagonising Micah at camp every chance I get in the amazing Red Dead Redemption 2.
The amount of detail in this game is so good.
GTA6 is going to be phenomenal, I can't wait!
Crusader Kings 3 The tale of Brian mac Brian Briain continues. Now an aging king of Ireland, veteran of many wars, both fuedal and holy. Brian III dead in a ditch, one daughter unreachable in a far away land, the Albino Queen of Moldavia, her betrothed stuck in scotland unable to marry her (😅) she will have no children of her own. A pilgrimage helped ease Brian's worries, but 2 wives have since died, King Brian's depression has spiralled out of control once more. 3 new wives married in a last gasp of desperation. A gift, a new son Brian III the second... attempt 😅 A handsome boy, but his father is only just hanging on to life, what can he teach him in his final moments. Ireland has been secured, no more conquests; unite, unify and defend!
For Brian ✝️
More Trails Through Daybreak for me.
@playstation1995 Here we go Steelers, here we go! I hope Fautanu can go. We need him against Bosa.
Very busy weekend ahead. If I do everything right, I may have some time for Vampire Survivors, Triangle Strategy, or Diofield Chronicle.
Shoving Lego heads on zombies in Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster. Playing more Blur on PC (Great game)
Adventuring with Ifan Ben Mehzd, Red Prince, Sebille & Lohse in Divinity OS2, what a joy!
Pretty much the same as last week
Star Wars Outlaws - still really enjoying this game. I think Im getting close to the end of the story so Im gonna mop up some trophies and get that platinum as well 🙂
Astro Bot - Amazing! The game just has fantastic level after fantastic level! Love it 🤩
The Plucky Squire - had to try it for a bit, seems very good but it’ll have to wait. Need to finish the games above first 🙂
Really want to finish FF7 Rebirth, 170 hours in and I love it except for some of those boss/challenge encounters, the dodge and block is driving me nuts. Hopefully I can get a bit more Astrobot in too, but I’m trying not to slam it (it’s making me want to go back and play Astro’s Playroom too)
I would love to play the Marvel vs Capcom Collection and Lollipop Chainsaw on the PS5 but I will be away for the weekend. I’ll be on the Switch.
Funko Fusion. I’ve got too many trophies to quit now!
@UltimateOtaku91
Eeek. I’ll leave off in the plucky squire until any known bugs are fixed then.
Not chased a platinum for over a year, but I'm considering it with Astro, just as an excuse to keep playing.
Then it's back to Cult of the Lamb and maybe, just maybe, thinking about a new Bloodborne run. Only played it through once.
My copy of Star Wars Outlaws FINALLY arrived yesterday, so, this will be my primary game for the weekend!! If time allows it, I will slot Uncharted 3, Tales of Arise or Yakuza 4. I'm juggling too many games, must finish a few soon.
Star Wars Outlaws
Still playing it, still enjoying it
I've gotten into a comfy place with The Outer Worlds. Never finished it so I'll keep up with that. So far, I only wish I had to work a little harder to earn companions, as every one of them has just jumped on the idea of joining my crew with little convincing. Then again...I probably would too if I were in that world. I'll throw on Shadow of the Ninja Reborn every now and then, too. Such an amazing remake.

Backlog
Under the waves started it the other day and really enjoying it it's quite relaxing just exploring the ocean. On Xbox I'm trying to finish Star Wars outlaws and playing Far Cry 5 Vietnam dlc.
I just finished Ys IX: Monstrum Nox, 30+ hours playing time & difficulty Hard. This is the 6th Ys game that i've finished and it's another fun and thrilling adventures with Adol 'the Red' Christin. I personally give it an 8.5/10. Not as good as Ys VIII but it still a very solid Ys game.
I'm also playing a bit of Ys X: Nordics demo from PSN Asia. So far the combat is fun and quite a breath of fresh air after 3-characters party from Ys VII-IX. Now it feels like the classic Ys with solo Adol, although he still can be accompany by a badass waifu hehe. Also, the graphics looks like a good improvement compare to Ys VIII / IX. Now the characters face animation looks more alive with better lip sync as well better detail on their model. The demo convinced me so i might buy Ys X on day 1.
So far, i don't have any regret with Ys games. The series is a perfect example that show JRPG doesn't always need AAA budget to offers a consistent fun and challenging gameplay as well interesting story and badass music.
But with Ys IX finished, i'm kinda confused with what games that i should play next. Should i continue Tales of Vesperia remastered (at 3rd arc), The Last Remnant, hunting Tengai platinum trophy (one more trophy), or play Star Ocean: First Departure R? Ahhh decision decision...
In that place where I have now fully completed the games I was playing. Platinumed and all. Therefore, struggling to decide on a new game to fully invest my time with. Currently dipping my toe into Bloodstained: Ritual of The Night. And then also Middle-Earth Shadow of War. Happy Gaming All.
Having recently started gaming again and I'm 5 hours into Scarlet Nexus. Having a great time with it.
Have a great weekend folks!
42 hours into Unicorn Overlord and it's still good. But I'm counting down the days till Sparking Zero!
Have a good weekend everyone!
Uncharted: Golden Abyss (Vita) - Nearing the end of my Hard playthrough.
Microsoft Wordament (Android) - Dailies and Adventure mode.
Free Slots Fun Factory (Windows Phone) - Won't stop crashing. I'm not sure I'll be able to play this.
Might play the Broken Sword remaster and Astro Bot this weekend although I'm feeling a bit burnt out on gaming lately.
Got over 60 hours in Hades with 20+ successful runs and I'm still hooked. Trying to unlock everything now. Probably the best game I've played this year.
Once the f1 finishes for today, Im going to go and beat my head against a wall.... and by that I mean try and get a little further in Black Wokong, which is testing my poor old man reflexes bad! 🤣
Im also looking to finish off Astrobot as some light relief, its such a joyful experience.
... and I really want to get back to some Diablo 4, I keep meaning to and getting distracted..
Whatever you are playing this weekend, I hope you have fun!
Continuing with Sekiro. I finally feel I’ve got the deflect down. I beat an early boss that I’d been stuck on for a while. It’s getting really good and I’m excited to play every time I start it up
This weekend on PS5 I'm playing Astro Bot, Stellar Blade (only 3 suits left to find) and Alan Wake 2 ng+. I love how they integraded the DLC into the main story, very nice touch.
On Xbox I'm doing some sidequests in Witcher 3.
On the Switch I'm doing some sidequests in TotK.
It's not often I'm jumping between all 3 consoles but when I do I absolutely love it.
Platinum time for Astrobot.
Then between caring for the newborn I’ll aim for more Vampire Survivors and finally get back to Wukong.
Time allowing: Start Space Marine 2
I’ve just hit chapter 5 in FF7 Rebirth. I’m finding Queen’s Blood to be one of the best card-based mini games I’ve played. I like it more than Gwent!
Other than that, Chernobylite keeps tempting me but I don’t typically play more than one game at a time. We will see if I can resist until I finish Rebirth. But who knows how long that’ll take!
Resident Evil 4
Epic Mickey Rebrushed came in early, so I'll be playing that over the weekend - also some Trails of Cold Steel 2 and Hogwarts Legacy!
Happy weekend everyone
None other than my most anticipated Game of the Year.
I'm selling off my PS5 to a mate in prep for the Pro so I bought Final Fantasy X/X-2 on Switch to play in the meantime
I'll probably fit in some Dead Rising before that though. It's a great-looking remaster on the surface but I'd have loved some upgrades to the physics. It would have been satisfying to have more than 1% of items being destructible. I'd still recommend it though, especially to those who never played the OG!
I rolled credits on SW Outlaws last night. The flaws were so evident, so I understand why it did not do well to start. But…..I had a big stupid grin on my face the whole time I played. It just oozes Star Wars. It really felt like being placed in a story during the Return of the Jedi era. The point of gaming is to have fun, and I certainly did.
This weekend, I start my spooky season line-up! El Paso Elsewhere, The Quarry, Still Wakes the Deep and V Rising are all getting time as we move through October!
Playing Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and Astro Bot. I’m enjoying Rebirth a lot more than Remake overall, even if I think Remake did some things better. Astro Bot is just pure gaming gold. Happy gaming!
@XscapingReality Queens Blood is fantastic, isn’t it? It’s amazing just how much a well executed mini game like this really adds to the world. More so than, say, stealthing around Chocobos! Hope you continue to enjoy it, game seems huge.
Finished Star Wars: Jedi Survivor last night so I'm moving on to God of War: Ragnarok boy!
Hope everyone enjoys what they're playing!
I'm playing all sorts of games right now, half are solo and the other half is with my cousin so it's a blast!
Finally got around to playing Aliens: Fireteam Elite as well as Evil Dead and damn it's a lot of fun, as well as the occasional Fall Guys because we all need something light and fun every once in a while.
And of course because it's Halloween Season Little Nightmares 1 & 2 as well as the Plucky Squire in between the other sessions.
Lots of games, finally my PS5 is being heavily used haha
I got the platinum for Astro Bot yesterday! A true sign of how much I loved it, because that’s only my second platinum, I don’t go out of my way for them. After that I started up Space Marine 2, the best modern 360/PS3 game out there. I’ve also been playing Skyrim on Steam Deck on the side.
I’m near the finish line for Ys IX: Monstrum Nox. It’s been an incredibly journey, and I think it’s a masterclass in RPG design. I shared a more in-depth analysis as to why on a forum, but it’s just special. I’m hoping to get the platinum soon, and then I’ll properly jump into Astro Bot.
@KyushuTrail Nothing beats that satisfying feeling of finally taking down a boss in that game. Then again, there’s nothing worse then that sinking feeling when you realise that boss has a second phase
Likely continue the zombie bashing fun in the Dead Rising Remaster.
A friend wants me to finally buy Helldivers 2 so I may do that
I have had Horizon Forbidden West on my console for ages waiting for me to play the burning shores dlc having finished the main game when it launched.
However I had totally forgotten how to play it so I'm reacquainting myself with that, aiming for the Platinum before I hit the burning shores.
To be honest without the expectation of a new release I'm enjoying it loads, weird bugs and all.
I tried the plucky squire but I just can't get into it. I'm on chapter 4 and the idea of jumping between 2d and 3d seemed really neat but it's just really uninteresting rn
If I can't muster up the will to continue it I'll be going thru KH Memory of Melody. I'm loving it so far but that's expected. SE games have fantastic music to play rhythm games with. And I'm also playing DQ Heroes 1. Fun musou so far
Way deep into Red Dead Redemption 2 and way far from from being done w it so when I have time to play I’ll be riding and shooting my way through the American old West. 💪🏽😁👍🏽
Still Vampire Survivors. It's brilliant!
Wish I could afford Astro Bot though
@UltimateOtaku91 ive gone back to previous saves and back into the previous chapter. The issue seems to be that Thrash has just disappeared and he has the dialogue with the starfish (I had a quick look on YouTube to see if I was doing anything wrong) might have to replay chapter 6 from the start again if that doesn't fix it I'm gonna bin it off, which is a shame as I'm really enjoying it but I don't want to have to replay from the start and lose 4 hours.
@Jimmer-jammer I agree that Rebirth is better than Remake. But I just don’t think the open world was necessary. Maybe this opinion will change as I get further into the game. The story-telling and character building in Rebirth is much better than Remake but I kind of miss the focus of Remake. Does that make sense?
I'm currently working on getting 100% of the trophies for TLOU Remastered. At the moment I am on my Grounded+ run so all I'd have left is completing Left Behind
Dead Rising Remaster and INDIKA.
Episode Aigis from Persona 3 Reload, enjoying it so far.
@Shepherd_Tallon. Oh yeah dragon age inquisition is so fun.im playing as a mage.the magic is amazing.the story.the boss fights.soundtract.and the gameplay are all amazing.word up son
@IntrepidWombat. Oh yeah Pittsburgh Steelers 💛🖤. Best nfl 🏈franchises ever.word up son
@XscapingReality Yeah, that makes sense. I find it a lot messier than Remake so I get where you’re coming from. For me, it’s the environmental variety and focus on the characters that make Rebirth sing. I could do without Chadley’s data collection and the clunky mini-game padding but it’s just so awesome being able to explore the world beyond Midgar within a modern presentation.
Mainly I am watching Game Of Thrones again. Great series, this time Sansa doesn't irk me, but the little brat Arya still does and Jon Snow seems more obnoxious than at first viewing. But on second viewing I just skip parts which really helps.
I am supposed to be playing FF 7 part I with good graphics. The better graphics on the PS5 version has been enticing.
I don't feel compelled to play much though. If only Days Gone 2 had released (around this time) or a Disco Elysium 2, but incompetent forces ruined both studios and badmouthed the creatives behind.
Plucky Squire has game breaking bugs but I was liking it before that. Some Space Marines 2 but I’m not seeing the hype, it’s just ok to me. Trying to platinum Trine Enchanted Edition and it is so good. The series is on sale so I went and bought all the other games. Finally Astrobot left me yearning for some early PlayStation titles so I’m almost done getting the platinum in Ape Escape. Would love a modern version and Sony recently showed they can do it
I'm onto Black Myth Wukong after finishing Astro Bot in the week
Peformance on PS5 seems a little shaky early on which is a bit concerning for how it'll hold later, but I'm mostly enjoying it. I am however absolutely awful at it and still struggling with one of the early bosses. I'm sure it'll click soon though and there already seems to be a satisfying variety with the combat
@PuppetMaster I’m playing through IX as well and I love it. It has surpassed VIII for me. But my real question is - how did you beat the game in 30 some odd hours? Did you do any side quests or anything? I am about 80 hours in (Nightmare mode) and on the 8th chapter. Lol.
@homelesscretin bruh,Hades is a masterpiece for me. I played twice on switch and steam deck. Play hades 2 early access for like 70 hours and stop. Spared the rest for the official release
I bought tons of game on steam deck sales. Currently playing Lost In Random. Such an amazing game. Love it.
On PS5, black myth wukong and metro exodus. Take a break from wukong after reach 4th boss. My mood goes into Metro Exodus
Got the platinum for Plucky Squire, unlike others i only encountered a small glitch where a block i needed got stuck into the background. That was easily fixed by reloading though, rest i had zero bugs or crashes. Fun game but glad we got it day 1 in Plus, not fun enough to play again sometime.
Also playing Far Cry 3 Classic and might grab MH Stories double pack, since its on sale atm.
Still playing through the campaign in Space Marine 2 and if anything else a few tracks on WRC.
Might see what El Paso Elsewhere is like but should really finish something first.
Putting the finishing touches on the phenomenal Astro Bot on PS5. Also, enjoying the hell out of Forza Horizon 1 on my ROG Ally. I’m trying to catch up on all the stuff I missed on X360 as I had a PS3 back then.
Been really hitting PSVR2 recently, and it’s been oddly great for the physio for my broken elbow… so have to play more games on doctors orders 😄
Tried Pistol Whip for the trust time… why did no one warn me what a work out that is? Have only managed to complete anything in classic on Easy mode.. tried normal and it almost killed me, never mind my elbow it’s my legs that’s are suffering now after all that ducking and swerving 😂. Awesome game though, and reason enough alone atm to have PS Premium.
Other than that I’ve been streaming some Devil May Cry HD collection which has been a lot of fun returning to after all these years… even if the camera angles are the real enemy of that game… seriously, how did we survive back then?
Have fun folks!
@DrVenture69 Same, although I have stopped trying to collect everything on the maps and go through the story now, I'd like to move on to another game soon! As great as Rebirth is.
@Kraven I did a lot of side quest. But i missed out 2 side quest from Dandelion board, didn't complete Azure Petal collection (i got 96), didn't complete all landmark (only need 1 more), didn't complete report the map (i think i got 80%), and didn't complete donate meal (only got 9 or 10 recipe). I didn't grind much but my Adol at level 80 after beating the final boss.
You already 80 hours?! I guess you want 100% the game like maximum skill, maximum affinity with all characters, ultimate weapons, all treasures, etc.
Platinum time for Astrobot and then finishing another playthrough of XVI with some friends. Happy gaming, everyone!
@amatmulisha Hoping this post uni life gives me enough time to play more videogames (copium😭)
But yeah very excited to jump into Hades. Before doing that though I think I might check out firewatch first. Realised I purchased that a while ago😅
My video game this weekend is reading hype about Dragon Ball Sparking Zero ☄️
Signed back up for Plus just to play The Plucky Squire. I'm only on chapter 4 but so far so good. The 3D levels are beautiful. That will pretty much be my weekend with some Stellar Blade mixed in.
@homelesscretin haha yeah the game can be so addictive and time consuming especially when you at early game. No rush. Take it slow.
Firewatch is a nice game. I love it. Play a little while. Need to continue the game later. My backlog is way too long.
Late Reply: I'm currently replaying Kingdom Hearts II, Birth by Sleep will be next afterwards.
Also need to go back and platinum Oddworld: New 'N' Tasty (or at least try to).
I've just bought a steam deck so I’ll be playing with that. pillars of Eternity and Persona 5 are loaded and ready to go.
I'm also surprised to find it runs remote play better than the portal and connects faster so that will probably be going on Marketplace next week.
The Plucky Squire. And boy am I angry about these stupid Glitchbirds. I replayed a later chapter to collect a scroll that I missed and instead of exiting the chapter after getting the scroll, I continued playing and also picked up a Glitchbird that I had already found which reset the Glitchbird counter (all ten must be found in a single play through). Now I am locked out of the platinum unless I start a new game. Glitchbird is a perfect name for what seems like a stupid glitch. I was so angry that I almost quit playing. Oh well, I still have Astro Bot.
I tried Tales of Arise on ps5 which is not my cup of tea in general, but not fully clicked with me so I put it aside for now and started Mass Effect Legendary Edition yesterday - I played prologue in MS1 several times but then always something else grabbed my attention so I really wanna give it a go this time as considered one of the best trilogy in gaming history.
On NSWL I'm playing Cocoon - really charming game with great puzzles.
And of course, today in PL big match ManCity vs Arsenal, looking forward to it.
Have a nice weekend and happy gaming, folks!
Well here we go with another wonderful WAYP. Been a great and cool week around here. Speaking of cool Happy Fall to everyone. Easily my favorite time of year. Most of the week was just the usual games like Trails Into Daybreak and Dawntrail. Cracked open that Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP AND Plucky Squire and honestly of the two loved Plucky Squire more it’s just so charming whereas Lollipop well it still feels outdated for sure. Also played Yars Rising and honestly that game is incredibly charming and loads of fun. Most of the weekend when not working was taken up by Emio Famicom Detective Club, Trails into Daybreak and more Star Wars Outlaws. Trying to see Tranformers One with a friend but if that falls through I’m thinking the rest of the weekend will be again more Trails and Visions of Mana. Otherwise I’m thinking this week is mostly gonna consist of some Ace Attorney, Trails Through Daybreak, Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD, Paper Mario, Bakeru, Dawntrail, Astro Bot, Emio, WWE 2K24, Star Wars Outlaws, The Plucky Squire and Visions of Mana. Think I’m gonna try to crack open the Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster on my day off. Of course like most people here I’m also excited for the release of Echoes of Wisdom. So freaking hype. Also preordered that Silent Hill 2 Remake and still have that money put aside for Yakuza Kiwami on Switch and YS X on PS5 so pretty happy there. Also got that WWE2K24 Global Superstars DLC I was waiting on so I think alongside it I’ll wrap up the Showcase mode of that game I really am happy about adding wrestlers like Lyra Valkyria and Kairi Sane to that game. Only other wrestling thing I wanna mention this week is short and simple. WWE Bad Blood has pretty sure all of its matches decided like Rhea Vs Liv and Cody with Roman Vs Solo and Jacob and I just can’t wait I’m so hype. I’m especially interested to see who faces Nia Jax there: Bayley or Naomi. Anime of the week gotta go to Nokotan, Alya Sometimes Speaks in Russian, Oshi No Ko and Mission Yozakura Family. Again all of these anime are absolutely killing it they are some of the best anime this year. Podcasts of this week gotta go to Castle Superbeast, Big Think Dimension, Into The Aether, RPGsites Tetracast, Minnmax, Jeff Gerstmann, Kit and Krysta, Last Stand Media, Easy Allies, Second Wind, Nextlander, Cultaholic Wrestling, Weapon Wheel, Aetheryte Radio and Remap Radio. As always yall stay safe, be extremely wonderful to each other. Have a totally wonderful weekend and of course Happy Gaming.
GOWR. Could be less melodramatic.
