@Yousef- Google "The Day Before" there will still be the original trailers, I bet ๐Ÿคฅ๐Ÿคฅ but there is also a bunch of people who have done investigations into them, and break down their lies and why the game was never going to be real. And low and behold, it released as a sham and was pulled within a few days, and then they dissolved the "company" and ran away to hide.

@Yousef- Your welcome for the reply! I like forum topics like these

Even though I do have a big sweet tooth, too much sugar is really gross and sickening, especially if itโ€™s a ton of ice cream! I can handle it if the chocolate is in small amounts rather than a full cup of ice cream. Too much sugar can really make me feel bad, but food usually doesnโ€™t make me feel that way. But, Iโ€™d have to assume itโ€™s the fact that chocolate is super sugary.

I can remember my mom coming back with a slice of peanut butter and chocolate cheesecake, and she let me try it and I thought it was way too sweet despite loving peanut butter and chocolate a ton, as well as cheesecake.

I just think that sugary or processed food is tasty in small amounts. Itโ€™s when itโ€™s a big amount it gets disgusting for me, and the same is when I eat too much greasy food; Iโ€™m fine with a plate or bowl of it, but the grease gets really terrible the more I eat it. I remember me and my family got a lot of Chinese food, and it tasted really good, but I donโ€™t think we finished it because it got increasingly greasy. Usually, American Chinese restaurants use grease in some of their foods, especially chow mein, which does taste good, but it kind of starts to taste bad when I eat more of it from the grease.

Yousef-

@Pastellioli have a similar sweet tooth. Some flavors I canโ€™t stand (or sit) like artificial fruit flavors.

Hate some sour stuff too.
Americanized โ€œChineseโ€ food is fake and overly greasy to appeal to people who donโ€™t know better or are uneducated. Best to make it yourself at home. Theyโ€™re uncomplicated recipes anyways.

@Yousef- Yeah, I do like fast food Chinese restaurants like Panda Express, but they are way more processed than authentic Chinese food, which I can imagine is less processed and better. There is another Chinese restaurant I did go to with my family months ago and it was way more authentic and not so Americanized. It wasnโ€™t greasy at all when I ate it, because the restaurant wasnโ€™t a fast food place like Panda Express. I have made fried rice at home and it tends to taste better than the processed ones sold at fast food restaurants. I donโ€™t know why most Chinese cuisine restaurants in America have more processed food than other restaurants offering non-American cuisine like Mediterranean or Greek, cuz those two have always tasted non-greasy and not unhealthy at all, at least the restaurants me and my family went to. Iโ€™d have to assume itโ€™s the different ingredients used to cook food. I havenโ€™t had Chinese fast food in a while.

Oh, artificial fruit flavors are pretty bad. Recently, me and my family brought a pack of sparkling waters from a brand called Chi Forest, and despite how much more flavorful and sweeter it is than other sparkling waters, it has no calories, and no sugar used. But, the orange/citrus flavored one was the only flavor in the pack to use artificial sweeteners and I was so disappointed when I found that out upon drinking it, cuz the other three flavors (which were lychee, grape, and white peach) were completely natural, but for some reason, almost everything flavored orange uses artificial sweeteners and is almost never natural. It just makes it feel more like junk food rather than sparkling water with carbonation.

A bit related to it, but I kind of dislike water that is sweetened with syrup or sweeteners; I can recall a trend that went around on TikTok a year ago where people were using a lot of sweeteners in their water, and I think it is fine if people do that (I do not judge or make fun of people for liking foods or drinks I donโ€™t like) but only if done on occasion. I feel like adding artificial sweeteners and syrups to it makes water super unhealthy and like a junk food, like sweetened fruit juice instead of natural fruit juice. Some people were doing a โ€œwater of the dayโ€ thing with the water and I watched a video that went over the trend and how unhealthy it can be if people keep drinking artificially sweetened water daily, from what that โ€œwater of the dayโ€ thing implies. I really donโ€™t enjoy sugary water, I find it tastes disgusting and I canโ€™t get through it.

I actually adore the VERY OCCASIONAL partaking of what I call McChinese food. Last time was... a year ago, I think. Not filling my body with trash very often lol.

Panda Express is too carby for me at present, but the beef and broccoli is a reliable fallback if I want something out quickly that isn't too unhealthy.

Oh, another food opinion: 90% of buffets are either disgusting or filled with low-quality slop, and they're designed to incentivize overeating. If I could enact a law banning them all, I would.

@Ralizah I love the beef and broccoli at Panda Express, I usually got that with a combination of fried rice or brown rice, but they always put in too much of the brown rice when I got a bowl.

That is an interesting opinion on buffets. I have a pretty neutral opinion on them, but the last time I went there was earlier this year I think? I kind of did like the food at the one me and my family went to. I got shrimp (though Iโ€™m not getting ones that have the legs, head and eyes in tact again, that caused a huge mess), sweet and sour fish (if I can remember) and some noodles with peas and a few vegetables. I remember getting fruit too, but the desserts like the cake they had there tasted dry and terrible, and the American food looked poor and unappetizing compared to the other food offered there. The seafood was probably the only thing that made me like the buffet, and it was really higher quality than the other stuff there.

I remember my mom not liking the food at the buffet at all, and I can see why, given that some of the food quality was hit or miss; some food had way more effort put into it than others. I have also heard people expressing concerns about buffets being sanitary, and while I luckily didnโ€™t get sick after going to the buffet, I think I can understand and agree with that, given the food is all out in the public and anyone is free to grab whatever it is they want, either with their hands or with a tool, and who knows where their hands have been. So yeah, can agree that some buffets just sell low-quality slop like the pizza and fries at the buffet we went to.

@Pastellioli I swapped over to the chow mein at Panda. B&B is great when fresh and has plenty of the sauce. Of course, they like to let it sit and dry up, so I'll oftentimes just order a freshly-cooked batch and wait.

Yeah, buffets are probably a health hazard, too, lol. Nothing good about them. Maybe if you're severely underweight and need a large volume of high-calorie food quickly. I actually used to enjoy the one at Ponderosa Steakhouse, but the last few times I tried it I left unimpressed.

Yousef-

@Pastellioli @Ralizah a part of me wants to try Panda Express and similar places out of curiosity. Those chains arenโ€™t in Kuwait largely due to oversatuarted Filipino market dominating the east-Asian food scene here in west Asia. Reminds of the fact we have a place called Maghal Mahal which is basically a really old Indian-Chinese fusion restaurant (a term I learned recently thanks to @Th3solution )

I agree that I avoid buffets and when Iโ€™m there I go for stuff that probably donโ€™t have poison in them like cereal then pour hot milk over it (common thing to do in Kuwait)

@Yousef- Maybe. ๐Ÿ˜‚
Although, I canโ€™t tell if this is a horror game or not because those deadpan uncanny valley dollโ€™s eyes effects look frightening! I guess they rely on players not looking at their faces? ๐Ÿ˜œ

You have to QUEUE to play EAFC25 online.

QUEUE!

I'll let someone else do a hot take on that new EA feature ๐Ÿ˜ถ maybe a soapbox article from the PushSquare team..

Wow.

@Yousef- instead of being able to play the game modes online for a game you buy, you have to wait in a queue just to get access to the game mode. And if it let's you on, then you have to wait to find a match after that. I won't be buying it if it remains like that, anyway ๐Ÿ˜… but it seems very shady.

"The Meg" is better than "Jaws".

@colonelkilgore Look at thr top comment in the movie topic - I'm not alone with this highly considered, well thought out opinion. Also, "Inseminoid" is better than "Alien" and "Barb Wire" is better than "Casablanca".

@FuriousMachine At no point in "Jaws" does Roy Scheider perform a reverse flying spin kick on the shark. Argument over.
