Where Are All Downsize Surprise Collectibles in Astro Bot?

Below, we have a walkthrough of Downsize Surprise, showing you where to find all the collectibles throughout this Astro Bot level, roughly in the order you should find them.

Bot #1

  • After getting the mouse power-up, climb up from the starting area.
  • Immediately to the right is this Bot in a cage.
  • Shrink and use the mushrooms to reach the cage, then grow to burst the cage open.

Puzzle Piece #1

  • Over to the left is a tree stump with a cat sat on it.
  • Defeat the enemy circling it, then pull the wires that appear.
  • Shrink and go inside the hole to find this Puzzle Piece.

Bot #2

  • Just ahead of where Puzzle Piece #1 is, you'll see three crates stacked against a wall.
  • Break these open, then shrink and go through the gap.
  • On the other side, grow and break down the wall ahead, revealing this Bot.

Bot #3

  • When you reach the bedroom, go to the bed in your shrunken state.
  • You'll be able to get under the cover.
  • Once you do, grow to remove the cover and reveal the Bot.

Puzzle Piece #2

  • In the bedroom, over to the right is a small pot with a glowing spin symbol.
  • Shrink and spin attack on it to rise to a new platform.
  • Follow this path up to a fan, where you'll find this Puzzle Piece.

Bot #4

As you exit the bedroom, this next Bot is just outside.

Bot #5: The Prince

As you climb up around the tree, look right to see this Bot sat in a bird's nest.

Bot #6

  • On the rooftop, go to the left and use your hover to break the glass over a fan.
  • Shrink and use the fan to get to the raised platform.
  • Blow into your DualSense's mic to start the bubble-blowing frog.
  • Hop on a bubble and float up to the caged Bot.
  • Jump into the cage then grow to free the Bot.

Lost Galaxy Level

  • Use the same steps above, only use the bubbles to keep ascending into the branches of the tree.
  • Around the side is a red switch — press it to reveal this secret level.

Bot #7: Quill

  • On the rooftop, you'll see a cat pawing at a padlock.
  • Shrink and go inside the padlock, then grow to break it.
  • Inside this room, hit the red button to start some moving platforms.
  • Climb up the platforms and cogs, and at the top, look left to find this Bot hanging from the edge.

Puzzle Piece #3

  • While shrunk, go to the left to find a spinnable platform.
  • Hop onto the clock hands. Use the second hand to reach the Puzzle Piece.
